How this site handles your information

About this notice

This is the personal website of Dr. Tony Hoang. This page describes what happens to the information you send through the forms here, and what the site collects when you visit.

Questions about this notice, or a request to have your information deleted, can be sent through the contact page.

Forms

Contact and work inquiries

The contact form asks for your name, email address, subject and message. The work-inquiry form on the Work with Tony page asks for your name, email, company, and optionally your role, a budget range, a timeline or event details (event name, dates, location and audience size), and what you have in mind.

Your inquiry is emailed to Tony using the email service Resend, and is stored in Tony's private Notion workspace so replies can be tracked. A short notification — the offer, your company and, if you gave them, the budget range, timeline or event dates — is sent to Tony's phone through Pushover. Your email address is not included in that notification.

These details are used only to reply to you and are kept only as long as needed for that. You can ask through the contact page to have your messages deleted.

Guest applications

The guest application form on the guest page collects the details you submit. They are handled as follows:

  • Your application is stored in Tony's private Notion workspace (the fields listed below), and Tony gets a phone notification through Pushover containing your name, company and the AI assessment. The full application is emailed to Tony through Resend only if it could not be saved to Notion.
  • Your name, email, company, title, proposed topics, bio or link, PR contact and any additional notes, plus the AI summary and score, are stored in Tony's private Notion workspace, where applications are managed.
  • Your name, title, company, topics, bio or link, and any additional information (but not your email address or PR contact details) are sent to an AI model through OpenRouter to produce a first-pass summary and fit assessment for Tony. If you include contact details in the bio or additional-information fields, they are part of what the AI reads. The request asks providers not to retain or train on the data (OpenRouter's data_collection: deny setting).
  • If Tony decides to proceed, the reply and onboarding instructions are emailed to you (and to any PR contact you listed) from [email protected] via Resend.

The AI may look up the company you name on the public web to estimate company size. A human (Tony) makes every decision about who appears on the podcast; the AI summary is only an aid.

Spam protection

All three forms use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes technical signals from your browser, along with your IP address, to tell humans from bots.
